National Jamboree
Scouting’s flagship event is one-of-a-kind. It’s a gathering of approximately 45,000 Scouts, leaders, and staff that showcases everything that is great about the BSA and its members. Over the course of 10 summer days, once every four years, the Boy Scouts of America comes together. The result is the national Scout jamboree.

Philmont
The Training Center at Philmont Scout Ranch provides a unique environment for the training of thousands of Scouting volunteer leaders. The Priesthood Leadership Conference convenes under the direction of the Young Men General Presidency and the General Scouting Committee of the Church. The faculty, selected from the Young Men General Board and Primary General Presidency and Board, provides training in the program and administration of Scouting as a supporting activity of the Aaronic Priesthood and Primary.

The Young Men General Presidency would like to extend an invitation for you to watch the Young Men Auxiliary Leadership Training that was held on Thursday, May 10, 2012 at the Bountiful, Utah LDS Regional Center. This was an outstanding training session that will benefit all who participate by focusing on the effective use of the Scouting and Duty to God programs for the Aaronic Priesthood-age Young Men of the LDS Church.

If you were not able to attend the 2011 World Jamboree in Rinkaby, Sweden, here is your opportunity to obtain a momento. The double-sided patch with loop was designed for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. On one side, in the background, is a drawing of the world with the Angel Moroni on the fleur-di-lis prominently displayed in the foreground. The reverse side displays the Temple encircled by a compass with Angel Moroni being the north direction. The words “Duty to God,” “Honor,” and “Priesthood” surround the Temple.
